Infant Foster Care

We are so blessed at CSS to have several special, loving families. They consider caring for our little bundles of love as a ministry, while they wait for adoptive placement or return to their biological family.

Infants stay in care for the shortest periods possible, depending on the circumstances of the case. They see a pediatrician within two weeks of discharge from the hospital and then on a regular basis, or as needed. Regular visits and contacts are made by the agency social worker for family support and to visit with the infant. Our families provide love, attention, and stimulation continuously.

Our families love providing care for our infants and are wonderful at what they do. All families have gone through an extensive background check, continued education requirements, are CPR and Infant First Aid certified, and have gone through much evaluation by the agency social worker.
